Maro Village — A Hidden Gem Near Nerja

Discover Maro, a sleepy whitewashed village perched above dramatic sea cliffs just minutes from Nerja — charming streets, coastal walks and the gateway to some of the best beaches on the coast.

Maro is a small, enchanting coastal village perched on the cliffs a few kilometres east of Nerja, right on the edge of the Maro-Cerro Gordo Natural Park. With its quiet atmosphere, whitewashed houses and traditional fisherman's character, it feels like stepping back in time — a world away from the busier resort towns along the coast.
